@CDSeries i don't think you need to, the gun is said to have steel gears, a metal spring guide, metal bushings etc... the A1 version of this gun by CA was given the "top gun" award by airsoft international magazine so this gun is really good.

the a1 comes with a scope, and it wasnt interchangeable. people started complaining about it so the a2 came without a scope

Ive been searching for a nice aug, and the CA is not only cheaper than th tm, but it also has much better reviews and accomadates my style of shoot first ask questions later.

yo i bought one of these and theyre amazing, you should def buy one but drop in a new spring, thats what i did and now its shootin 400ish and its really accurate

Hey ya I was just using an 8.4V 600 mah battery. You can use a 9.6V to make the gun shoot faster but you should probably upgrade the mechbox to handle it.

well for your info 1919Phantom19, the first three shots are not shots, it take a few shots to load the bb's, for about the sound, to make it sound "better" you need to upgrade the internals of the mechbox and possibly a silencer end with sound enhancement. As for my hair, I could care less what you think.
