It's Pearl Tea! Or "Bubble Tea"...Originated in Taiwan. There are a lot of bubble tea places on the west coast...like a coffee shop...but more Chinese. :) But there were a couple in Boston. Maybe you don't have many Taiwanese or Chinese people opening Bubble Tea shops in the midwest.
