There are many fighters. But not that many people who have the temperment or skill to teach kids. I train in MMA and MMA guys generally talk down to TKD. But NOT many (only a handful) or tough MMA guys can actually have such an organized class where kids learn and listen. That's a skill set not many top fighters have.

@ACoustaDC Well you would lose that bet because in Songahm 1 there is a side kick. and yes we do bar TRAINING with all belt ranks in my school.
-
which style do you practice?

@BushidoCode72, Every one trash talks about an art. A wise and an experience fighter will know that every art has it's advantages and disadvantages, It all comes down to the individual. How hard they train and how effectively can they use their skills on their opponents.

@DBKK, I Practice TKD ITF. There's nothing wrong with the kids holding on to a rail to practice their kicks. They have pretty good form compared to many that I've seen. Good job.

@myosource absolutly the clue is in the heading ie "side kick TRAINING"

@mrkmassa uhm... Yes I am a serious coach. And you will never find a white belt with a side kick anywhere near this good. 1. Side kick does not appear in a kata untill wan hyo (itf tkd) and it is the fourth kata in the ITF system. This appears to be ATA. They do a different set of forms, but I will bet you that a side kick isn't in their first form either. So yes I know what I am talking about and you do not. GOT IT! In fact, show me a style that has a side kick in the first form.

@ACoustaDC @DBKK Wow are you serious coach? He is saying that they are handing out black belts to little kids who shouldn't be higher than white. Clearly you have never trained in a real TKD school coach because if you did you would know it takes years of hard to work to get a black belt and you would not be defending this joke of a school.

Great Stuff, I do have my clubs, and taught Jujitsu to student from 7yrs and above. I found that these kids are well trained and under good supervision, thanks to their Sensei. I did tkd for 13yrs and as any Martial Arts it has its own benefit and its a noble art. respect to you and your training. You are doing a great job.. Peace on you
wow so called blackbelts holding a pole.... impressive

@DBKK why do you feel the need to be disrespectful to the kids in the video.

@myosource Who said anything about disrespecting the kids? Don't put words into my mouth. In ITF white belts lean against the wall or a poll in order to learn the proper technique, meaning they should not be a black belt. These kids should clearly not be at a blackbelt level and ATA has a bad reputation for that. Problem is people who go to a WTF or ITF school that hear these bad stories may think its the same thing at other schools.

@DBKK I didnt have to put words in your mouth. you are one that made the statement. " wow so called blackbelts holding a pole, impressive. " who were you referring to? that was directed at the kids so man up. I personally know very little about Martial Arts however we have a lot of students and instructors using our training tool. I just amazes me how many nasty comments there are. I always heard honor and respect. but some obviously have not heard that. maybe not you but many.
