  • I tried my best to get the camera set up while I was doing this but it is quite difficult to show the different parts from different angles without bumping the damn thing. I already have parts 2 and 3 up if you want to check them out. I know that I've found lots of people on the net who have contributed to the repairs of some of my other systems, just thought I'd try to return the favor.

  • I have replaced the belt but keep getting ERROR 22. I could really use some help if anyone is willing to share their time.

  • @lukemorse1 Are homemade belts stronger and more reliable?

  • @IvoryGecko1993

I would guess it was broken before they started or they weren't careful in the repair process.

  • @thumblister

I would guess he bought it in at Lowes since they have it.

  • I too would like to know where you got that plastic rubbery thing for making your belt. I have been to Keinz Home and Sekichu (in Gunma) and cant find it anywhere. Where did you get yours from?

  • Thank you for your effort in preparing this instructional video. I followed your instructions and successfully repaired my 25-year-old Roland S220 sampler -- which has the same Quick Disk drive in it.

  • @lukemorse1 2 people broke their Famicom Disk Systems...

  • I keep getting error 27-28, can you tell me whats wrong, and how to fix it?

  • Thanks for the tutorial! Do these instructions work for a Twin Famicom (obviously the case different.) Also if it is the same can the drive be swapped from a FDS to a TF or vice-versa.?
