It doesn't ever go completely away, I'm 19 and still get a croupy cough with any bad cold or flu bug. Its not nearly this bad though. Feel bad for the poor kid hope his gets better.

I'm trying to find out about croup coughing... cause this morning my son coughing with sound like barking, it's scare me cause he never cough like that, and he's in normal condition before, he didn't get cold, running nose or others that disturbing... Before you knew your son got croup, can you tell me what is the symptoms and how is his condition?... How is he now, I really hope He's good now... thank you for sharing...

Poor little man. How old? My daughter is 8 still gets it. No where near as bad as little poor guy. Does he have reflux? I just uploaded a video of my daughter coming out of an attack. Take care

Hi there...no, he doesn't get reflux. He is actually 10 and his episodes are getting more acute as he gets older, shich goes against the whole theory of croup. He can go from his first croupy sounding cough to airway closure in a few seconds. Thanks for your comment and will go check the upload...
