(*The Last Video*) - COMPLETE PLAYLIST IS AVAILABLE!! Watch it all the way through!! -
After Marius and Cosette are wed, Valjean feels it is his duty to tell Marius of his past as an ex-convict, and that Cosette is not his real daughter, but his adopted daughter.
Shocked at the revelation, Marius thinks that Valjean is a bad influence and of poor moral character. He tells him that he should stop seeing Cosette, for her sake. Crushed, Valjean agrees, losing the first and only person he ever loved.
Cosette cannot understand why Valjean is distancing himself from her, and is hurt. Valjean disappears, forsaken, living alone, and takes to his bed, having lost the desire to live in this world...
Meanwhile, Marius at last discovers that it was Valjean who carried him from the barricades. (Through Thénardier, who tries to blackmail Marius by telling him that his bride's father is a murderer, and produces a ring as evidence. It backfires when Marius sees that it is his own ring and realizes who saved his life.)
He and Cosette rush to Valjean's side, to find the great man dying. Filled at last with happiness and joy at seeing them, Valjean tells Cosette of her real past, and the name of her mother, and is at last free. Joined by them in love, Valjean dies, where the spirits of Fantine and Eponine are waiting to carry him to Heaven...
NOTES:
- Wow, I can't believe this series is finally DONE. I'm almost sad! No more LOTR / Les Mis to work on, or look forwards to! It's been a wonderful experience, these 2 1/2 years. :) Thank you for being so wonderfully supportive and patient!!
- I was working on this, along with Javert's Suicide, since December 2008.
- Hopefully the colouring is ok! I was afraid of going overboard, but seemed to set the tone for the ending and once I did one clip, I had to make the rest match. It used to be very "blue", but gold seemed to be a better fit for the triumphant ending.
- Also, I apologize for the titles at the beginning; usually I try to avoid showing things instead of telling them, but it was necessary to explain on what was going on, and not everyone reads the description.
- Alas, there are a few mistakes that I did not catch in the rush to finish this before I moved.
- I am actually uploading this from Barnes & Noble bookstore with the free WiFi. =O As the internet connection in my new room kept cutting out. And there is no watermark; Please do not steal this video!!
- Actually, I re-counted the videos and there are 23 LOTR/Les Mis videos, not 22 like it says in the credits.
- Oh my goodness, 10 minutes is the longest video I've ever done.
- Lastly, THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH for your amazing comments!! You know I treasure every single one, and each spurred me onto the end! These videos wouldn't be here if it weren't for you, and I want you to know it!! :) Every bit of feedback, con-crit, ideas, and encouragement made a difference in them all! You guys are simply the best!

Congrats on completing the series! Now you've got me wondering, any idea what you'll do next?

@KimukoCat
My next project is finishing the "Eomer's Bootcamp: The Movie" which combines LOTR with Mulan! (Have you seen the original video?)
DerKaiser92 and I began the series in 2008 and it was 95% complete when we found out that we needed to reconvert the footage. So I've been redoing it, replacing the clips. I'm halfway-through and will finish it over Christmas break. :)
The videos won't be posted on my channel. DerKaiser92 and I have a separate channel for the videos, EomersBootcamp. :)
