Home cockpit fun with FSX and VATSIM

Preparation and takeoff flying the PMDG MD-11 with my home cockpit setup. At the controls is Captain Fouad Safi (known to us here as Captain Batata). Initial trip was from Gatwick but due to bad ATC sound we switched servers in VATSIM and eneded up taking off from Dubai.

Here is a list of all the hardware:

Dunno if u can get Saitek gear in Dubai. In Qatar, Virgin Megastore is the only place I have seen that stock them, and not all the time. You might want to try that store in Dubai. I got all my gear over the internet.

I got the Saitek from US through Aramex delivered to Qatar. Virgin Megastores sometimes also has them in stock.

Oh I wish I could tell you the brand name of the chair, but I bought this a long time ago and can't recall. It is very comfortable however and highly adjustable.

Hi Andy thanks for your comment. Normally I would have the cockpit across the three screens, but on that day I had just got my fourth monitor and installed my second graphics card, so I was experimenting with different viewing options.
