I tried this and it does make it a little difficult to fly and you have to get used to pulling the throttle back down when you crash.

I didn't do this at first, and now that I've gotten used to the spring, I actually like it better than no spring. :)

i got the syma 108g cobra, and i used this mod on it as well. you don't even have to remove the batteries, you can leave them there, and the cover can be left screwed to the batteries.

I just tried this but didn't like how the throttle felt, it feels so loose!

I see that the controller need 6 batteries!!! can it be fited with A 9v scuare battery?

@sm1thers Lol i did too, plus took out front LED is that a good idea?? Sometimes it cuts out.

Just opened 2 of these for christmas and the throttles don't spring. One less mod i will have to do.
