more like samurai disarm bro. no offence meant man. that overhead strike is purely samurai, and the actions following the initial strike aren't meant to show the ability of the attacker, but more the move the defender needs to take. ya, its not entirely realistic. but it isn't meant to be one. its just showing a disarm technique of an overhead strike with a katana. ya, it would turn out different if he fought back, but that isn't the point. so ease up trolls, seriously.

This video is laughable first off a ninja is not going to do an over head strike. Second ninja's are tactical they will not run up on soldier like this clown is demonstrating. to clarify what a ninja would do is sneak up on someone with his shuriken drenched in poison and finsih you off making follow up combat easier

I have faced a lot of swordsmen and, with all due respects, this will not work on someone who knows something about distances. And a proper cutting technique with a katana.
Something similar can be done with a knife, where it is more practical :)
