@Nyquilcoma It looks like when he turned the right-handed guitar upside-down, he didn't bother to change the strings around, and just learned the chords backwards. My cousin's a lefty who plays a right-hand guitar, and he did the same thing, and that's what it looks like.
@trickcigar All time favorite Beat tune, incredibly simple hook, but insanely catchy Can't really figure out what Dave is doing on the rhythm part- I know the song's in A, but even allowing for a left-handed player it doesn't look quite right in the video. Know he did some stuff with open tunings, maybe this is one of those. "Shake Some Action?" Love the Groovies, but I don't hear that.
Dave Wakeling (lead vocals) and Andy Cox (lead guitar) were big Flaming Groovies fans. This song sounds very similar to 'Shake some Action' by The Flaming Groovies and I believe it was one of the very first songs they wrote together before The Beat was fully formed.
