Students of Attawapiskat Plead to Minister Chuck Strahl

Grade eight student, Shannen Koostachin of J.R. Nagokee School, has created a powerpoint presentation showing her school and asking Mr. Strahl to build them a proper school.

Oh what a video its so touching..It reminds me of the residential school video's I watched one time and pictures that I have seen...Should try to raise money some how for these kids cause they shouldn't have to endure this kind of education at all. Here I thought there was improvement in the government but no...Best wishes and I hope you get the building that you need to teach these young kids..need a better facility to teach our future leaders...

This video was amazing, so touching and deep...excellent work, Shannen...No child should have had to endure that for such a long time, let alone eight years...The federal government should be absolutely ashamed of themselves for letting this go on so long...I saw you on APTN today and had to come find this video! Thank you for standing up! This is an example of Grass Roots political activism at it's finest! w00t w00t!

no he dosnt have a heart. but please dont say that about coyboys, Im a cowboy -actualy girl- and I care, I care very much. Mr. Strahl is a 'pig' -probably an insault to the pigs lol- we need to get rid of him and get someone who cares about our kids. I bet all the kids in his family a in good well built schools!

Mr Strahl is a decent guy, my daughter has class in a portable and she seems to survive, and we live in Chuck Stahls riding of Chilliwack BC

Shannen, your dedication and conviction is admirable. I too pray for your cause. It is a just one, and should have been dealt with before more children are hurt. Most politicians are blind to all but that which affects them directly.
