  • My husband and I are in the process of getting a divorce now and it is very hard. Things don't always work out like you hoped they would. It is very painful to recall the good times we had together even though they were seldom. I used to lay in bed and watch him fall asleep, I loved kissing him. I just can't go through anymore of the emotional abuse he has put me and my family through.

This song is helping me to cry out the pain as I lay here on my bed alone in the night.... :(

  • disintegration = masterpiece

  • @jrphan0509 sounds like you should have washed the dishes like he told you to,or maybe you should just run off and join the cia and play with butterflies like dr mengele

  • Only from the mind of a genius--only from Robert Smith.

  • ..and in my eyes; your smile..

  • this is the greatest song ever made, because simon gallup on bass, and robert smith on bass ( he is using a bass VI i believe) = god and jesus together finally <3

  • this is simply the best song they ever made........period

  • @jrphan0509 I'm sorry to hear of your pain, but we are always evolving; you'll get past this in time as well. I share your thoughts on this song; I've always felt it was very powerful emotionally, like many of the songs of The Cure. This post is 8 months after yours, so here's to hoping all is better now.

  • @jrphan0509 This will get better. I have faith that this will get better. Great taste in music as well.

  • @darkforest121

    right on...well said, and enjoy...

  • @Themosthybrid

Well let's watch the counter eh? it's at 83 me...zero you? what do you think that means? to me that means you're the odd-man out, and not because people don't want to accept all, it's because you're an obtuse asshole, who thinks his life is justified by tarnishing those of us who have an appreciation for finer things, in this case it's the Cure, redefining music. So go harass others who are weak, we are strong in observing mastery

  • @ZOMBIELANDakaUSA Again what point (that you dont have) was proven by what I said, my question was pretty acute, you didnt nail anything, you think up some bullshit obfuscated ''theory'' and pretend you are wise and know what the music meant when you dont even know what the intent behind it was, it could have been anything, and you simply dont know because you didnt produce the song. Stop acting like some leader and answer the question, and not a bogus ''failure of humanity' excuse of an answer.
