  • My nieghber accadently hit a "spoted owl" and got a huge 1K ticket for the "Rehabilitation" of the owl. The owl was allready dead and they still made him pay for it so that the local PETA group doesn't bomb them.

  • yeah go owls take that stupid spoted prick out

  • its just a scam to get logging out

  • They can't live anywhere else?? They're ENDANGERED!? Oh no! Then what about all the Spotted Owls with the same genetic code in Mexico?!?

  • support a logger, grill an owl

  • Spotted owls taste better than fried chicken. Murrelets? Hmmm I'll have to try that too.

  • Old growth forest habitat doesn't just sustain the spotted owl, it sustains marbled murrelets as well, which is another critically endangered species.

  • This is a joke. I live in the Pacific Northwest, on the Olympic Penninsula and we have lots of spotted owls here. They live all over the place - not just in old growth forests. Owls aren't stupid, if you chase owls away from their home they actually will fly to other areas and live there ! Isn't that amazing. The old growth forest hysteria is simply a lie.
