New Jersey Motorsports Park is currently under construction in Millville, NJ. The multi-faceted project is being built on 707 acres and features 3.98 miles of road circuit raceway. The 2 courses will be named "Thunderbolt" and "Lightning". During World War II, Army Air Corp pilots and crew members trained to fly the P-47 "Thunderbolt" fighter aircraft at Millville Army Air Field.

Official Groundbreaking Ceremonies were held on September 19, 2007 and the park will host its first racing event in July 2008.

Construction Manager for the $150 million project is Bertino and Associates. The construction team includes URS, R.E. Pierson, C. Abbonizio, Thunderbolt Construction, Arthur J. Ogren, Highway Safety Sytems Inc., and Scarpa Electric.

ATC Associates Inc. is providing Construction Quality Control and Materials Testing for the project (www.atcassociates.com).

The video features construction progress though the end of March and includes views of the North Paddock, Driving School, Kart Track, Concession, Events Garage, V.I.P. Suites, and the North Bridge.
