I'd correct your apparent misconception about fursuiting being a sexual thing, but honestly I think you are simply being consciously dishonest. (How many suits did you see in which sex would even be physically possible?)

It saddens me to hear such spiteful comments being thrown around like their target has no human dignity or value. Fursuits take a lot of time, effort and money to construct and maintain. Performing can be fun, but it is primarily to entertain others.

It's easy to dismiss something you don't understand as perverted or crazy when you have no personal connection to the subject. You can have a bit of fun doing some hating with a friend. But it is no more than typical prejudice.

For starters, the furry fandom is a very heterogenous group. Analogously to cosplay in the anime fandom, most furries do not have a fursuit.
