Emmylou was always more country than Nashville ever was. Nashville turned Appalachian music into a nationwide salable product. But it was never authentic. It sold well and made all those stuffed shirts in the audience a ton of $. The process is now complete; country music is dead as hell.

Very nice song written by Dolly Pardon, & sung by Emmy Lou, can't get much better than that - aren't we all blessed, thanks for the early songs...
