  • Ah yes praying on the ignorance of the crowd. This guy recreated the ten dollar Top Secret Perpetual Spinning Top - google that. Care to reshoot that in a controlled setting?

  • Try googling this, certainly no amateur - con?, no, i think the builder has expended a lot of time on this but doesn't want paying, instead he's sharing the design for replication by anyone who wants to try it...prank?, maybe - but until others have replicated it we don't know.

  • (1) What's with the 60 cycle sound throughout?

    (2) You shouldn't have to spin & spin it to start it.

(3)What's with the EXTREMELY low light level?

If I did not know better, the 60 cycle sound we hear sounds like it gets in sync with the extra high spin at the end of the video. I'll lift the soundtrack and have it analyzed and post the findings at my UT homepage ASAP.

  • Ha Ha Ha... another amateur con/prank.

The key is the silver tape at the end of the black strip on top of the disk. A photocell is aimed at the silver tape to pick up a reflection. The photocell triggers an electromagnet under the table to pulse. There is a single larger magnet under the disk to complete the 'motor circuit' with the electromagnet and the photocell.

When he picks up the disk it slows down because the photocell loses contact with the silver tape reflection.

  • Oh please dont encourage people to waist their time with this. Its just another hoax it cant and does'nt work its just laughable..

  • wow, it looks lyk u could make a flying saucer wiv this kind of technoligy just alot more advance.. :/

  • WOW!!!

    1) Can you do it again with better lighting.

    2) Can you find a way to put a load on it.

  • For those of you who are trying to investigate this, try Googleing "OC MPMM" and NOT! "OC MMPC" I think the header is wrong.

  • Oh yes. I love dimly lit video that proves? this revolutionary "Astounding" discovery. Cant't this guy afford another lamp?

    This really convinces me! lol

  • if true it would be the most important technology ever publicised yet he can't be bothered to put light on it..
