Wow, a real walk (flight?) down memory lane. I earned my commercial license with multi-engine rating with Coos Aviation at the North Bend Airport almost 40 years ago. Great video, thanks for sharing. Back when I was flying the Cardinal 177RG and the 210 were the only retractable gear birds in the Cessna single-engine fleet. When did they start making 172RGs?

Is the control tower in use yet?
OTH is now a class D airspace ,kinda sucks, been flying there since 1978 and never thought it would come this. the controllers are friendly and helpful, but why do they need to controll 15 operations a dayl, Goverment run a muck.

I actually don't mind flying to/from controlled airports. I learned to fly at a Class C airport and I think it helped make me comfortable with the ATC system. Now I don't even think about it.
