After 10 days or so of boring foot toughening up and down on the gravel in the courtyard this was the first serious barefoot hike (7.5 km, 650m heigt difference) I did up to the Pass of the Goats (Colle dar Moine) in the Pellice Valley .
The song is from a compilation called "Armonie Indiane" that i picked up in a supermarket here in italy. I'm sure I have the title somewhere so I'll try and find it for you and post it on here.
I find that once the blood starts pumping my feet do warm up considerably. I sort of grin and bear it for the first 5 minutes but wearing leg-warmers or cut off socks helps. I subsequently did a 90 minute hike on frost and snow with no problem which surprised me.

Do your feet warm up naturally as you hike barefoot in cold weather? and what song is that?
