The missing link between noise and sound...

@markky60 Funnier still is that you don't consider a person born in Scotland a Scot. You do realize that families who have lived in Scotland for 500 years did come from someplace else, don't you?

@VinnyTheHack and the piano was made by Bartolomeo Cristofori ( from Italy) and just like you said the modern day violin was invented in Italy ( probably the violin he is referring too, and not the kobyz from Kazakhstan or Mongolian morin khuur ), so they are both Italian instrument, the piano and the modern day violin. :)

@markky60. Anybody who says "aint" isnae Scottish in my book.

The bagpipes are like marmite, you either love them or hate them. I worked with a women who said that they sounded best when played by the banks of Loch Lomond, because she lives in East Kilbride and she can't hear them from there.

I love the pipes, but I can sympathize with people who think they are annoying. Besides, if it was a terrible instrument, no one would bother ridiculing it.
-
As a bagpipe player, I love my pipes with all me heart. But this is just hilarious because this is probably how it happened :-)
-
@AeroAtlas I agree. Unless played wrong and then it sounds like 1000 tortured cows.
-
@ingi1996 then why are you watching it cockhead

Bag pipes are the sounds of angels.
WHAAT? both piano and violin is Italian :O not Austrian and German!

@pleazzee The pianoforte was so named (Italian) because of its wonderful ability to play both softly and loudly.
While the violin wasn't invented in Italy, most of its modern day characteristics were developed in 16th century Italy.

It's not surprising that one who plays the bagpipes doesn't find their ridicule funny. But it's all in good fun. Nobody dislikes bagpipers. :)
