Wat Opot Art Program

Children at Wat Opot Children's Center (which houses and educates both HIV positive and negative orphans) together with children from the local village in Takeo, Cambodia create a beautiful mural on the side of their school house. This mural has helped break down barriers and the prejudices against HIV in this rural area of Cambodia. This art project was started a year ago by Rith Houeth, a Cambodian artist with international funding, in agreement with the orphange's director Wayne Dale Matthysse. I'm a long term volunteer at the center and this is my first attempt at a video of any kind.
