SSBM: The Super Wavedash (Samus)

This video shows how to do the Super Wavedash in Super Smash Brothers Melee, which can only be done with Samus. What your going to want to do is drop a bomb, and as soon as you touch the ground, push the control stick to the side opposite to the one you want to slide to, and then immediatly after flick the control stick to the side you want to slide to. It requires nearly perfect timing every time, and the closer you are to perfect timing, the farther you slide.

A good way of trying this is to go on training mode and put the speed at 1/4. Then, drop a bomb, and while you're falling to the ground, keep pressing side-to-side very rapidly on the joystick.

And yes, I do know that this is very old and that I did not discover it.

By the way, I might delete this video in the future, because it's the only video that I have that contains something that wasn't found by me.

I honestly would not recommend going into training mode on 1/4th speed as a method to master this, because then when you are actually playing normal speed and in actual matches, your perfected timing will be way off. Learn it the way you plan to play it, I say.
