This song is timeless. I was a 17 y/o kid just graduated from HS and about to enter Air Force Basic Training in 1987 when this song came out.

Eagles, Ace, Squeeze, Mike and the Mechanics, ever heard of them? Paul was part of these bands at 1 time or another. Paul is a talented musician who doesn't get the press or pub that he deserves!!!

one of my favorite songs from the late 80s, for some reason you never seem to hear this song played on the radio anymore which is a shame cause this song was a Top 10 hit in early 1988

Aaahh, the 80's. Where good music still mattered and looks took a backseat. My, how them times have changed. I've written music about heartbreak in the past myself.
