Tan Ruiwu: Short pips backhand.

@Opalance The only player who uses short pips on forehand on Chinese national team is Zhan Jian. You are confusing this guy with Tan. I watch super league all the time. I PERSONALLY watched Zhe Jiang league match twice. You can do opening loop with short pips, but not continuous mid-distance drives, which Tan does all the time. I told u to look at the video, there is obvious inverted shine from both sides of his racket. If u watch his style and still believe he's short pips, you are a beginner.

@randompop101 lol, I chatted with a guy who watched him play live and got his forehand rubber from him. You CAN loop with short pips, but the clearest way to see his short pips is the punches and flat hits he does with them. He uses TSP Spectol, look it up on OOAK, it's a well known fact. I used short pips on my backhand for about 6 months and I watched a ton of videos of Tan, he's one of my favorite players. The off the table blocks, the chops, the flat hits, he's using short pips, duh...

@Opalance You must be out of your mind. I've known Tan Ruiwu for years since when he was on the Chinese national team. I even saw him play live in the super league. He CLEARLY plays with inverted both sides. His style is CLEARLY looping from both wings. I've watched more than 30 videos of him and I'm extremely sure you're damn wrong. type in "Daniel Habesohn vs Tan Ruiwu (1/3)" on Youtube. In the beginning of backhand counter practice, you should see how wrong you are.
