I submitted this short film as a finalist in Conde Nast Traveler Magazine's "2008 $25,000 Dream Trip Contest". I didn't win, but I had a great time making this short film about the great little town I used to live in -- Polson, Montana.

  • ah flathead lake.. ohhh i loved it there. didn't stay in polson but drove through it

  • sure your not a realestate salesman . who else would want to advertise and encourage more people to move in but then maybe your not born in montana.maybe your from california.

  • Love your documentary talents, Bart! Well done.

  • That is one BEAUTIFUL place. I think I want to live there now.

  • i used to live in polson, I just moved to WA from polson a couple months ago.

  • I agree with SOXFOX and violinmac and also live in Polson! If we could send the ones from California, Nevada and Arizona back we would be O.K. for a while. However the rape of the west will continue. There is no stopping it. Central City Colorado is a prime example.

  • racism even worse in alaska...your lucky if racist comments from the natives is all you get...nomsayin?

  • I had to move to alaska to get away...californicators brought pressure on the forest service...the ran everyone out of the forest...could'nt camp where you wanted to anymore. that type of thing...pretension...the californicators brought pretension! bastards!

  • hey soxfox...I lived in steamboat springs colorado for several years...we felt the same way about the "turons"...you came , you saw, now the the fuck outta here! unfortunately the californicators won...steamboat is ruined.

  • Although this video is nice, it's worrisome, because we in Polson don't care much for people coming in, building a house, and living there for just the summer. IT takes our land and quite frankly, it's frowned apon by the locals too.
