on record, can I import vst and add midi tracks...say I lay down live drums guitar and bass, but if i wanted to add strings, clave tamborine etc using a MPC controller?

The MIXER is made after the SSL4000 or 9000 I do believe... it's a great board! many albums were recorded using that board...
