Making Your Own YouTube Computer Video - My Advice

Here I talk about some things I follow when I make my videos. I strongly suggest you make your own videos, its well worth it =D

Before You Start

- Find something you love / know lots about
- Look at others videos
- Research it if needed
- Good Understanding

Making The Video

- Make people aware of what the video is about
- Use a Screen Recorder / Webcam Capture Utility
- Provide as much information as possible (without going offtopic)
- Avoid using a text editor
- Avoid using music
- Speak clearly throughout
- Position the microphone away from your mouth
- Make use of the Video Annotations, but not too much.
- Use notes/scripts if you need to

Uploading The Video

- Choose appropriate title
- Check for spellings
- Put all information such as links into the description
- Choose appropriate tags

Attracting Users To Your Videos

- Make responses to others videos
- Ask users to rate and comment and subscribe
- Subscribers are important
- Use Social Networking/Word of Mouth
- Upload More Content

Comments

- Ignore the spam, offtopic, unnecessary negative comments
- Negative comments still count as a comment
- These comments are indexed by google

Rewards

- High ranks in google searches
- Appreciation videos
- Positive comments
- Knowing other users are benefiting
- Learning more from other users
