Dr Craig Barrett's Visit to Intel's Booth at WCIT 2008

This video highlights Intel Chairman Dr Craig Barrett's recent visit to the World Congress of Information Technology (WCIT) 2008, which was held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Intel booth at WCIT 2008 showcased Intel's ongoing involvement in connecting communities through the use of technology -- be it for the health, agriculture or education sectors. Dr Barrett and guests from the Malaysian Ministry of Education also participated in a live 1:1 eLearning session with students from one of the 10 pilot schools involved in the program in Malaysia. The live demo showcased the Intel Classmate PC and allowed visitors to see how these devices are utilised in a 1:1 eLearning environment. The Intel booth also featured a Netbook Zone, which put on display a host of simple, affordable, Internet-centric, purpose-built netbooks.
