  • So can I use this to connect A New Apple Cinema 24 inch to my PC which has Normal DVI (I think that's what it's called)?

  • @browntechguys Yep it'll work. Although I'm not sure how well the iSight and speakers will work. Honestly, If I were a PC User I would get one of the numerous LEDs other manufactures have produced. I only say this because the apple, although good in quality is a bit overpriced.

  • Atlona says that they have a "True pixel to pixel signal". Now that's just a claim so I can't back that up but that being said I tested my friends new MacBook pro and hooked it up directly to my display and it's exactly the same quality.. which is great. So yes the picture quality is perfect.

  • HI , thank you for the video. I need some help. So if I want to use 24in display's built-in speaker with my PC, I just plug the attached-usb connector to my PC ? is that correct? (so the audio signal is transmitted via the usb connector instead of the regular audio jack?) Thanks in advance.

  • Well I can't make any promises on how well the peripherals will work on a PC. That being said, there's hundreds of speakers out there that just use USB for the PC. So I would be highly surprised if it didn't work. Not sure about the iSight camera as well. Also keep in mind that the 24in Cinema display has one major flaw. The connectors are really short. Your computer needs to be either on your desk or you'll have to buy an extension for about $30 bucks. Which I ended up doing

  • I love apple mini display with ips tecknology, i also have the dell ultra sharp UD2711 ips too. They both cost me about $999, when i conpare them pixel in pixe

  • @lestliness Except there are no other manufacturers that make a glossy LED monitor with an IPS panel.

  • So, the image quality it's really the same than without (with mini diplayport directly connected to computer)?

  • Thank you very much!
