Regarding hell, I'm a pragmatist, not a masochist

Would I "abandon" atheism if I were presented with irrefutable proof that god (I presume ChristianAtheist is referring to the christian god) exists?

If God was proven to exist I'd not worship him. It would be pointless for me to try to hide my disgust for an omniscient God, so I might as well go all the way. I'd go to the baricades and demand the following:

1 - fair elections for heavenly office

2 - hell closing down

3 - a more even distribution of the goods of heaven

4 - God on trial to pay for his crimes agains humanity

5 - God's powers used for the good of mankind

And should that send me to hell I'd consider myself a martyr for justice

@henriktor and now really think about what it would mean to be in hell. What's the worst pain you've ever experienced? Imagine that times 1000 and forever and ever. What's worse, you'd never get used to it, you'd not have painkillers and you'd never die and have it over with... The day you become a martyr is when it starts, not when it ends...

I know it's only a hypothetical, and like you I would think that I'd end up in hell, but honestly, I'd try to prevent it...

I know that with an omniscient God I would not be able to hide my disgust for him anyway. God as described in the bible makes me sick to my stomach and he would know that if he did exist.

Since I'd be sent to hell either way, my only option would be to take my opinion and run as far with it as I could.

That way I could at least stay true to my moral standards.

I have found, much to my chagrin, that the video this is a response to no longer exists on you tube, nor does the makers channel. I was very much looking forward to rubbing salt in ChristianAtheist's wounds.
