  • the audio is not mixed very well

  • i prefer micth mitchell

  • If this isn't punk rock in 69', 70, then i don't know what is

  • Buddy Miles kept Jimi on point because he had less room to meander like he did with Mitch's style of drumming.

  • Jimi was at his musical peak when he formed the Band of Gypsys.. The man was incredible!

  • Its Buddy Miles birthday today!

  • Much tighter than Woodstock :P solid drumming by Buddy Miles

  • you know, it doesn't matter what color you are or what band your in or what band you are. Arent we all just a band of gypsys?

  • @MattHatter When I saw the Band of Gypsy's gig at the Fillmore for the very first time on video, it's clear his jams were much more intense.. I'm probably wrong about the "black band" thing because he kicked ass at Berkeley and his band was "The JH Experience". His playing was a little out of whack at Woodstock EXCEPT FOR THE STAR SPANGLED BANNER.. Maybe too high? LOL

  • @groov539 Dude with Jimi, you can't say something like that! I suppose you can, but what's the point? The J.H.E. was Jimi's original band, you talk like they were a bad group or something!
