Even though we went 8-5 this year, it was pretty evident that Kelly was the right guy. His philosophy of "next man in" and RKGs are paying off. Weis had 5-star mike ragone who has a total of 10 catches, and Kelly got 2 star Tyler Eifert who blossomed into a star this year. More than ever you can see players and recruits be proud to call themselves members of the Notre Dame family.

Firebird Frenzy I believe that Kelly is the guy to return us to glory the way Lou did.. During the era of these highlights, the Irish would play a top 10 team every week it seemed like, and usually pull out the W... Swarbick is scheduling the way we used to (especially in 2012) with Oklahoma, Miami, USC, and Michigan all in the same season. That is the Notre Dame football I grew up watching, playing the best of the best week in and week out.

Great vid. All these clips show what the college game on the whole is (or at least should be) about. THe raw pride and emotion from the student body and the fans swarming the field speaks so loudly. Hopefully we'll see that passion again very soon. And our hearts forever, Love Thee Notre Dame. 23 days!

Hmm, yes, because Jimmy Clausen, Michael Floyd, Dayne Crist, Kyle Rudolph, Manti Te'o, Sam Young, etc, all who were 5 star recruits, look like a bunch of players in the Sun Belt Conference. hmm yea sure. And don't forget the 4 star recruits such as Golden Tate, Armando Allen, Brian Smith, etc. Dude, everybody talked about how Alabama was off the map just a few short years ago. And then along comes a great coach. Don't let your hatred of Notre Dame football blind you.

I am surprised you could actually find five minutes of Notre Dame highlights. Whenever I watch their games these days it just looks like a bunch of players that belong in the sun belt conference making terrible plays. You should have joined the big ten, as in another 25 years nobody will remember the great times of Notre Dame football and you'll be completely irrelevant.
