  • I can't stand playing racing games with outside cockpit view

  • I wondered how PS2 made Gran Turismo 4 look extremely better than GT3. GT4 looked like it coulda been on the 360 or PS3 some how.

  • Cool game. Too bad the game series is carried away with graphics nowadays, along with the PS3.

  • Not only is there 2 player mode, but there's up to 6 player mode with i-link. I have an intro to a full race on my page now. Me and 5 friends ran a 20 lap endurance race with tire damage on at Grand Valley. 1 Corvette C5R, 2 Toyota Denso Sard Supras, 1 Pagani Zonda, 1 Dodge Viper GTS-R and 1 Nissan Calsonic Skyline. It was a fun race. Go check out the intro, and tell me what you think!

  • Can you do better? If so, post it so we can watch. If not, shut your flap.

  • Thank you and I am happy to garner interest & glad you posted better - I (hope I have) left all my footage open to responses. Your perception of why I post is wrong, however. They are merely achievements: what I achieved and nothing more. Have a look to the Atari 400/800/XL stuff I post: two in particular are terrible achievements but they are achievements none-the-less. On the other hand, others I have enjoyed and returned to (GT particularly due to the vast number of tracks & challenges).

  • Posting your videos in and of itself is the claim. If you were a terrible driver, what would be the point? You even said you were going to submit to Twin Galaxies for their records. I think you drive really good. I liked the viewing of it, and it made me want to play. You should be happy you sparked interest in a fellow GT3 player. I saw some things I thought could be improved, so I tried it. My time is beatable. It just takes persistence.

    No biggie. ;)

  • LOL, no revelation whatsoever. Show me where I claim to be good. ;)

  • As far as the Boards Challenges go, ALL of the replay files are available. That's the biggest competition series on the planet.

"... they are claims and not proof, to my mind"

I think your mind should be aware that there's an entire world of players and ex-players of this game, and we have agreed on what the accepted method of verification is. You don't like it? Maybe you just can't keep up. Tragic revelation for you.

Thanks for the chat, indeed. :P

  • "Some of them even supply ..." You see, the fact that not every single score is backed up by this leaves only those which do as having proof. I agree that they are likely to be the most idealistic times but, they are claims and not proof, to my mind.

I can see we won't agree on this, so thanks for the chat, none-the-less.
