Clips and still photos from a May-June 2010 expedition aboard the M.V. Tiglax to the Western Aleutians in the north Pacific. We visited Attu, Buldir and Kiska islands to conduct seabird research. The video is mostly a nod to my fellow travellers but there are some bird shots as well.

  • Although very beautiful (and lacking in permafrost), Kiska is certainly no place for the faint of heart.

  • @mountainstandardtime I was there in 2005. It was awesome, probably the most beautiful part of the world I've ever visited.

  • I wish I can build a house there and live there when I want to get away from the world. It would be so relaxing. Just you, nature, and God. Beautiful. Lol I sound so emo for sayin that.

  • Kiska Island has the worst maritme weather in the world. Over 250 days per year of over cast weather with precipitation. The ground is frozen year round with permafrost.

One of the most fucked up places on earth. No thanks never want to visit that piece of shit place.

  • just great. a remote and beautiful place of the world

  • Fabulous scenery, great cinematography, what can I say.... keep 'em coming Exanguinator! Mi x
