  • So what exactly did he do other than crawl down the powerline?

  • @flanksteak2 I can't speak to that as I'm not a lines-man, but I suspect they look for cable-frey / signs of wear and when they get to the towers I expect they check-out the spacer / isolators...

  • what it's called the music?

  • @Elbicka That question has been asked a few times Elbicka... I'm afraid I don't have the answer.

  • Michael Brook is apparently the Canadian composer (from Toronto) who did much of the music in this documentary (according to Ianandvicki below) -- hope that helps.

  • ohm.......

  • @TheMoezilla Haha cool! I had a stupid moment, I just realized that they're obviously not 2 phases! Thanks anyway!

  • @sonconmas Not two phases, just a double conductor, I've worked on double stranded lines before that were intertwined and not seperate, but, they were energized at distribution voltage. No need for a hot suit, just rubber gloves and sleeves. You can still can draw a pretty good arc with a screwdriver and a insulated bucket truck!

  • This is like some nature show!

  • What documentary is this from?

  • V2 if this video, better quality:
