Asian Americans make up just five percent of the U.S. population, but they may play an important role in the presidential election in closely contested states such as Virginia and Nevada. Mike O'Sullivan reports from Los Angeles, the two major political parties - the Democrats and the Republicans - and community activists are working to get out the Asian American vote.
I am a US born American Filipino and support conservative policy positions, and am therefore a Republican. What people must do is to become educsted about policy differences see what they support and decide that way. This is more equitable then the usual false claim that all Republicans are racist.

Can't believe Asian Americans would vote for McShame after he called Vietnamese 'gooks' and wouldn't apoligize for it.
Just don't see how the GOP can be considered a party for the whole country when most of its members are white and many of them are racist.
