Sissy Spacek was born in 1949, That would have made her 50 years old if she had of starred in the one that came out in 1999. Slightly too old to play a 17 year old!!!

The version that came out in 1999 was The Rage: Carrie 2, and it starred Emily Bergl, playing a relative of of Carrie White.

Also, the pigs blood looks OBVIOUSLY fake in this version. In the 1976 it seemed sorta real only cuz its less bright red color and shine. In the 2013 its more accurate: after a while...blood looses its red color after being removed from the body turning dark red or even a pale black...
