  • @TheTartanTaliban What kind of salt water?

  • @happisonu Can u link me the vid? lol

  • click the transcript

  • is this a same guy who couldn't activate the filter, lol

  • I think he is talking about rinsing out large particles not regenerating it. Carbon will work for months. You could probally use carbon for at least 6 months. Of course nobody selling you carbon will say that...lol... 2 weeks yeah right. If it only lasted 2 weeks no coal fired power plant would exist because they would be spending a billion dollars a year on carbon for the carbon scrubbers.

  • @xxHUNGREExx DEPENDING ON THE CARBON actvated carbon should be once a month now Super carbon is fr every two

  • so when should i change my cartridge every month or 2 months plz help

  • to bad carbon is a waste of cash!! just regular ceramics or sponge filters will do the same thing and are reusable. carbon does take out inpurites in the water and can take out essential minerals in the water that some fish need. the biologicals will do a better job and save u that wasted cash. my fav filters are aqua clear power heads and hang on back (hob) filters or fluvals canisters. you wont go wrong with them ive had many and those still run after 10yrs w/ simple cleaning

  • Does this guy keep up modern fish keeping at all or is he still stuck in the 60's? If this is an "expert" in the hobby then Lord help the noobs who's fish he's killing.

  • NEVER!!! You Must dispose of it and use new carbon!

After activated carbon becomes saturated, after time it will leach everything BACK into the water!! and a quick rinse will not solve this!

It will basically spit everything its caught over 2 or so weeks.. back into the water far faster than it takes it out!
