Hi everyone! Welcome back to Clevver TV, I'm your host Dana Ward.

Today we're talking all about Selena and the Scene. While the singer and her band basically just put out their debut album Kiss and Tell - technically, in 2009 though - they're already getting things rolling on album number-2. Interestingly, Selena has said that the follow-up tracks will have a different sound, using words like "older", "funkier", "edgier" even saying the songs will have a bit of a reggae feel. Basically, Gomez said that she and the Scene were working on some stuff to make a deluxe edition of Kiss and Tell and then decided to make an entire new album altogether.

The Disney star reportedly hopes to follow in suit with the vibe created for her hit single, Naturally, and that she's not really wanting to take on ALL of the pressure as a the lead songwriter. That being said, she's wanting to get some collaborations in the mix, including the producers from Naturally and maybe even Dr. Luke who has put together hit songs like Katy Perry's I Kissed a Girl and Ke$ha's Tik Tok.

I don't know how her new album will be & if this will be exactly "reggae" (i dont think so..--') but I think it's good that she will not make the same thing, she gonna make a new thing. It's alright :)
