  • @Xanzur plus water is also a terrible conductor of electricity, its just ionised water has free flowing ions which act as charge carriers, and all tap water and bottled water is ionised, pure water is the least conductive material on earth

  • @ObservedFIREFLY Cooking oil is an extremely poor conductor of electricity, while water is quite the opposite.

  • if having liquid in the parts is so bad then explain the oil filled machines all over the section i was just in

  • k ppl if u dont have a wrist strap u can just hold on to the metal part of the case so u wont shock the bejeezus outta ur self or the parts ESD is serious :)
