Interactive AudioVisual installation. Turn up your speakers plz! A lighter and a flash light are used as initial light source. the visuals are videoloops. the sound is generated by a computer, using MaxMSP and Jitter.
Cool but I don't see the connection to the sound . I'm working on this also . I'm trying to get a VFL to be controlled by sound . Down to each note in a way that there is no doubt in anyone's mind that the visuals are in sync with the music or sound . I have yet to see any of these that has truly achieved it .
i know this is not the best upload, its just to get an idea of how its supposed to be.. when your doing this yourself in the room itself, its becomes more clearly. But you're right it still needs more work.
And I'm still working on it to generate more accurate sound.
well, it is up to the viewer what he or she draws with the light (on the wall). then audio is generated (by computer) to match the images. everything is depending on one another and done on the spot in real-time. watch closely at 1'10, from here you can see how it is build up. (you can see me performing) For more info check my youtube channel and some of the other examples I posted there. grtz,k.
