i like the beat of this song, because its like a bit of entropy, but then by the end of the line, everything gets tied back together. its like an optical illusion... a beat illusion. its just clever and things dont get written like this anymore. shame

It's not rap. As several people have said already. It IS correctly called patter, and to top that, it's closer to jazz or swing than rap, technically. However, not all rap is bad. I personally can't stand most rap, but there are a few pieces I specifically like.
