Everyone thinks it's really easy. Then they see you on the ground getting whacked at by strikers, and they think, "I'm glad I'm not them!" I think it's very fun, though.

I doubt that stats like that (save percentage) are kept much in the game. Basically, the closer the attack, and the greater the number against a goalkeeper the more difficult to defend. Also there is so much interaction around a goal that it can be anyones fault when a goal is scored. I would recommend trying for it - its great fun, and you have to be very fit. IMHO you have better chance of affect on the game than ice goalkeeping.

at :30 that ball goes seriously fast
