Terrorist groups like Hamas, Muslim Brotherhood, and Al Queda aren't just soldiers who kill on a battlefield. They are murderers who kill civilians and military not in combat.

Just as we continue to back that dictator Karzai and his narco state. What have we acheived with the trillions in wasted tax dollars? How long did we back Mubarak and his brutal repression of his people. Why is it acceptable for America to overthrow the democratically elected leader of Iran, Mossadeq, in favor of the brutal Shah? Why do we continue to back the brutal Saudi family and its counterparts in Bahrain, Jordan, and Qatar? You have to address your political hypocrisy.

@PhiloAmericana Who said I supported backing dictators? Karzi and his Drug Warlord Brother are crooks, but Sharia Islamofacists will take over if they are removed. Same with Mubarak & even Gaddafi. We have to deal with oil dictators like the Saudis and the corrupt Mexican Government b/c our government won't let us drill our own oil. Do the rebellions support a Republic with a Bill of Rights and no part of Sharia Law? Do they care more about fixing their country than hating the US & Israel?

Long was KIA as far as I'm concerned. In fact, I would go as far as saying he was the victim of a hate crime. Of course I don't believe in hate crimes, but I do believe in the death penalty for murderers.

@keeparkansaslegal You want to solve the political issues? Oppose Israels expansion into Palestine, quit providing blank support to their aggression. Drill at home, and quit backing brutal dictators that oppress their people just so you can drive your 8mph truck or suv. Their grievances are sound, real, and justified.

The reason there is so much opposition to the west is directly due to our support for dictatorships across the region. We are exploiting the region, and we've been exploiting it for centuries. The grievances are primarily political. What are the major grievances of the people of the Middle East? They are opposed to western intervention into their societies.
