I'm so sorry u got beat at all- in any way- & suffered cruelty.Please hear this because it's important: TOO MANY PEOPLE say that if THEY got beat worse, then what Hillary got was ok. The problem is this: often, when a person has suffered abuse, cruelty, beatings, etc: it can Warp or Twist the way they see things & make them see things the wrong way. It's like if someone said "my stepfather cut my finger off- so an extension cord is NOTHING."Just because they got worse doesnt make ANY assault ok.

I would encourage you to reconsider what you are saying. I completely agree that you a got beating when your stepmother used the extension cord. Its my observation though, that the African American community is willing to tolerate a higher level of violence than it ought too. What the judge's daughter got was child abuse as well. It just wasn't on the level of your own beating. I support spanking, but I've seen the video and heard your description too. Both events were beatings.
