First of all you should pay more attention. I never said "God hates gays." I KNOW better. The act of homosexuality is wrong. period. You act like time passing by makes it right. Rape was wrong 3000 yrs ago & it's wrong now. what's your point.

You hide behind the bible in fear of what you were raised to hate, and you use 3,000 year old rules to justify the poor treatment of a significant segment of our society, based on something they were born into. You didn't answer my question - how is it different for you to say "God hates gays," than 40 years ago when people said "God hates race mixing"?

I'm not gay, by the way, I just have a quality called empathy which you're clearly never heard of.

@diah4 40 years ago your kind railed against miscegenation, and quoted the bible as proof that it was against God's will. 150 years ago your kind railed against the north, and quoted the bible in support of slavery.

Please tell me the difference between those two fights - both of which your intellectual ancestors were more than happy to quote scripture on - and what's going on now against gays.

@diah4 It's as if you haven't even read the bible. Homosexuality is a sin. So is wearing clothing from two different kinds of cloth. And eating shellfish. And not marrying your rapist, and shining your shoes on a Tuesday, for all I know. If you're so inclined you can find justification for any law or hatred you want in the bible - but that doesn't make it anymore relevant in today's society, and it certainly doesn't make it right.
