@tyme4mike If it wasn’t for the fact that your a couch potato who can't figure out how to make and upload a video on to youtube and intelligent enough to realise its an educational video about the differences in the systems and updates on the vehicles, then your comment might warrant some truth. Being on the spectrum myself, I don’t think I have met another sufferer who could not figure that out and make such a pointless comment as yours.

About time someone made a better list than that pile of muck Discovery rubbish. Glad to see that there's no 'production rating' or 'fear factor' nonsense in it!

"Production Rating and Fear Factor", is just the yank way of fking up statistics in their favour. They do it all the time. I mean, come on, tank v tank which is the best? Obviously the one with the better gun, better armour and fastest and most stable x country = Chally 2. AND that doesnt even factor in Leo and Abrams being lost in combat.

@TSR1989LW nice comment, but I have to say your numbers are out :) Sweden's Stridsvagn 122 - AKA Leopard 2S, is based on the A5 variant and 120 are in service or were certainly purchased.
-
@TankNutDave Very True.
However we Brit's now have less Tanks (about 350 Challenger 2's) than Sweden does, which is insane
(that said a Challenger 2's incredible performance & survivability make up in part for the lack of numbers).
I remember a ""certain documentary's"" claim that... "there aren't enough of them to make the enemy truly afraid", i'm sure the Iraqis would dissagree completely there (as they were unable to destroy a single one, dispite considerable effort to do so).

@mikked82 Labour has always done a worse job mate :) However we still remain the 4th largest military force in the world, but to avoid any comments being left on the best militarys in the world being left Im going to stop now lol

@ModelbuildingTANKS Streetfighter and TUSK are packages for Iraq, the USMC M1A1's in Afgan dont use TUSK. As for the K1A1 comment, I respect your opinion, but they use the same gun and can fire the same rounds and some use the same armour :)

@ModelbuildingTANKS Well T-90A is going to be replaced. If you look at my site Ive writtern and added over 600 vehicles from loadssssss of countries, so pride myself of using material from other nations sources and I have read plenty of Russian sources like Col. Gen. Alexander Postnikov who slag the T-90 off. As for Chinese, they still manufacturer the Type-96 which is 2nd generation. The Type 99 little is known about it and in relation to China's tank force it makes up a tiny % of it :)
G'day Dave great video I would like to know if you are going to do another top 10 update, you forgot a brand new tank from Japan. See below.
The TK-X (MBT-X) project aims to produce the new Type 10 main battle tank, to replace or complement the existing Type 74 and Type 90 main battle tanks that are currently in service with the Japan Ground Self Defense Force. Development began in the 1990s, and production is expected to start in 2010–2011. See Wikilpediea for more info.

@tasman006 Cheers, I will do as I want to add the updated Leopard A4'slike Canada & Turkey. As for the Type 10, I have writtern about it on my site using sources from Japan. I checked out the Wiki page and its well out of date. Its all 2008 information. We still do not know which calibre Length the main gun is so its hard to rank as this is important. Plus we do not know the state of production since the earthquakes in Japan :)

seen some stuff in there I have not seen before. Im a Brit but is the Chally 2 really that good? I was also surprised by the low positions of the US tanks, did the turbine have anything to do with that?
dougstiro 1 year ago
@dougstiro Not really, but the turbine does effect other elements which were scored effecting the total score :)
