@julianbell90 you have to warm up diesel trucks more
-
louder is better!!!!!
-
all 3, chevy, ford, and dodge, have quiet engines. It depends on the person, and sometimes even the job. Some like loud, some like quiet. Some are out in the field, by themselves, others are around people, and need to talk, it depends on the situaton, but they are quiet now

Dear people who want a louder truck: I'm sorry about you're small penis.
The quietness gives me the impression that it's pretty fucking technologically advanced, but that's just me.
-
It still sounds great too.

@julianbell90 Put an exhaust on it
-
Look on the lots of places hauling trailers for a living, won't find a ford.Mostly Dodge duallies with the Cummins used. These places don't want the fords finding them unreliable

It's funny all the wannabee rednecks want loud obnoxious trucks...People who actually use trucks for work prefer the quiet one. I'm sorry wannabee redneck, a loud truck doesn't make your penis longer...It just annoys everyone.

i like the loud 7.3!!!

@julianbell90 only if you have to make up for something....
1. Turn off the damn engine, you'll save fuel
2. A quiet diesel is kinda pussy-ish

I thought that a quiet diesel was kind of pointless, takes away from the manly-nes and raw brute power feeling of a truck.
Then I actually stood next to one of the SD's, they are remarkably quiet, even against Ford's gas engines, and it was actually very surprisingly nice.
It gives the truck that kind of "Intelligent Beast" type of presence.
If you've been around one, you'll know what I'm talking about, it really is one of those things you have to experience to understand.
