@Eclipsewolfdragon This is FUSION. It has elements of other styles of dance as well as Belly Dance. What I am expressing is not my personal opinion. When I perform or see others doing a fusion style I prefer to see more actual belly dance in it but no need to be rude to others.

@Eclipsewolfdragon I do have a belly dance teacher. I have also taken workshops with Zoe Jakes and Rachel Brice and my teacher is a national champion. Belly dance is about a lot of things, I never said this was a style I am crazy about or love these performances....I also don't think these performers are professional.

@molarmama5 It is beautiful that this can be done. Art constantly changes in this way. I appreciate criticism but it seems you are very close minded. The background of the dance is still rooted to an origin.

@NikkiRaqs Yes I have watched the whole clip. Belly dance is all about grace, this is clearly not. If you think this sort of vulgar dance is belly dance, you need a better dance teacher. And yes, it IS vulgar.

@Eclipsewolfdragon Have you watched the whole of all the performances? This show is obviously themed and most are doing tribal fusion belly dance which is STILL belly dance.(Although I did see what looked like a more traditional cabaret dancer in there) I have personally found that themed shows tend to have a more theatrical vibe which can mean less overall dance in exchange for story and theatrics but to say it's ridiculous, vulgar and not belly dance is so ignorant.
