1985

Stephanie and Sabrina are twin sisters. Stephanie is unhappily married with two children and living an ordinary middle class life in the U.S. while Sabrina is single and living the high life in London. Stephanie eagerly accepts her sister's gift of a trip to Venice where they celebrate their birthday together. Stephanie envies her sister's glamorous lifestyle, while Sabrina is tired of it. They decide to switch places for a while and see how the other half lives. Complications set in when Sabrina starts falling for Stephanie's husband and Stephanie enjoys Sabrina's life too much, and then a surprising twist leaves Sabrina stranded in Stephanie's life.

I always thought it strange that the two seemed to switch places so easily. I mean just slip into each other's lives almost seamlessly. The only one who seems to notice a difference is Mr. Cat. I am reading the book now and I think Sabrina makes some mistakes that aren't really detailed in the movie and Grant figures it out on his own, she doesn't have to tell him.
